Iraqi Parliament Speaker Discusses Parliamentary Cooperation with Algerian Counterpart

Iraqi Parliament Speaker Heibat Al-Halbousi held a phone call on Thursday with Khalida Boughedach, President of Algeria’s People’s National Assembly, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

According to a statement from the Speaker’s media office, the discussion focused on broadening cooperation between the two legislative institutions, as well as the importance of coordinating positions and unifying efforts on issues of mutual interest, with the aim of further strengthening ties between Iraq and Algeria.
