Iraqi Health Minister Dismisses Al-Kadhimiya Hospital Director, Orders Faster Emergency Ward Renovation

Iraqi Health Minister Abdul Hussein Al-Mousawi has dismissed the director of Al-Kadhimiya Hospital following an unannounced inspection visit to the facility.

During the visit, Al-Mousawi ordered the acceleration of renovation works in the hospital’s emergency wards and instructed that the work be carried out in line with the required standards and specifications.

The move comes amid growing complaints from patients and visitors over the level of healthcare services provided at the hospital. The minister also called for the necessary measures to improve the hospital’s conditions and enhance the quality of medical services offered to citizens.
