Rafidain Bank Begins Paying Interest on First-Issue “Emaar” Bonds

Rafidain Bank announced on Tuesday the commencement of semi-annual interest payments to holders of the first issue of “Emaar” bonds, in accordance with the established maturity schedule.

In a statement, the bank said the payments are part of its efforts to provide financial services to bondholders and strengthen confidence in investment in government bonds.

The bank explained that the payments cover interest due on bonds valued at one million Iraqi dinars, with interest paid every six months over a four-year period, in line with the terms of the issuance.

Rafidain Bank called on eligible bondholders to visit its branches in Baghdad and other Iraqi provinces to collect their payments, reaffirming its commitment to simplifying payment procedures and expediting transactions.
