Pezeshkian: Continued US Sanctions Will Worsen Conditions and Harm Iran and the World

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has warned that the continuation of US sanctions against his country would further complicate the situation and lead to negative consequences affecting not only Iran but the entire world.

Pezeshkian reiterated that Tehran is not seeking to develop nuclear weapons and reaffirmed Iran’s readiness to engage in dialogue with the United States.

The Iranian president stressed that Washington should recognize Iran’s determination to strengthen its relations with countries around the world, relying on the support of its people and coordination with neighboring states. He called on the United States to pursue rational dialogue rather than resorting to the use of force.
