Norway’s DNO Considers Exporting Iraqi Oil Through Syria to Secure Higher Prices

oil producer in the Kurdistan Region, has announced that it is exploring the possibility of exporting Iraqi oil through Syria to achieve higher prices than those currently offered in the local market.

DNO Chief Executive Officer Musavfar Rahmani said new opportunities have emerged to transport Iraqi oil to the Mediterranean Sea via Syria, a route that was previously closed. He added that the company is assessing the available options and opportunities to use this corridor to sell oil at more competitive prices than those currently prevailing in the market.
