Iraq’s Youth Ministry Opens Sports Facilities Free of Charge to People with Disabilitie

Iraq’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Safaa Al-Kinani, announced that the ministry’s sports facilities, halls and laboratories across Baghdad and other provinces will be made available free of charge to people with disabilities for training, skills development and rehabilitation.

The announcement was made during a meeting with Muwaffaq Al-Khafaji, head of the Iraqi Association for People with Disabilities. Al-Kinani highlighted the ministry’s commitment to supporting this group, including granting them special privileges in investment projects and providing a dedicated online portal to track their requests and needs and facilitate access to available services and opportunities.
