Iraq Football Association Allocates Equal Stadium Stands to Four Clubs’ Fans
The Iraqi Football Association announced on Sunday that the stands at Al-Madina Stadium in Baghdad will be divided equally between the supporters of Al-Talaba and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, as well as Al-Zawraa and Al-Shorta, ahead of their upcoming fixtures in the 11th round of the Iraq Stars League.
The decision is part of the association’s strategy to bring fans back to stadiums and strengthen spectator attendance throughout the league.
An agreement was also reached to host the return fixtures involving the four clubs at either Al-Madina Stadium or Al-Shaab International Stadium, ensuring suitable conditions for supporters to attend matches and cheer on their teams.
Al-Zawraa, Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, Al-Talaba, and Al-Shorta are widely regarded as among Iraq’s most popular football clubs, boasting some of the country’s largest fan bases.
