Iraq Activates New Entry Facilities for Jordanian Citizens, Allowing Visas on Arrival
New entry facilities for Jordanian citizens travelling to Iraq have officially come into effect, in line with directives issued by Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, according to an informed Iraqi source.
The source said Jordanian nationals can now obtain entry visas upon arrival at Iraqi airports and border crossings without the need for prior applications. They are also permitted to enter the country using their private vehicles or by air.
The move follows understandings reached during Al-Zaidi’s recent visit to Jordan, which also included reciprocal measures for Iraqi citizens travelling to the Kingdom, allowing them to obtain entry visas upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport.
