Al-Zeidi, Christian Parliamentary Bloc Discuss Government Formation and Overseas Iraqi Expertise

Prime Minister Ali Al-Zeidi met on Wednesday with Kaldo Ramzi Oghna, head of the Suyana Christian Parliamentary Bloc, along with several members of the bloc, to discuss a range of political and economic issues as well as efforts to complete the formation of the government.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Media Office, the meeting also addressed the role of the Iraqi Christian community abroad and ways to make use of its expertise, capabilities and resources in supporting development efforts inside Iraq.

The talks further focused on strengthening the contribution of Iraqi professionals living overseas to reconstruction projects and supporting the country’s broader development plans.
