Vitol Buys 25 Million Barrels of Iraqi Crude in September

Reuters reported on Thursday evening that Dutch oil trading company Vitol has purchased at least 25 million barrels of Iraqi crude during September, citing two sources familiar with the transactions.

According to the report, Vitol, the world’s largest independent oil trader, is leveraging its extensive shipping and global logistics capabilities to help Iraq move crude amid disruptions to exports linked to the US-Iran war.
