Van Gogh, Monet and Cézanne Paintings Head to a $450 Million Auction

Sotheby’s is preparing to auction a private collection of 12 paintings by leading Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artists, including Vincent van Gogh, Paul Cézanne and Claude Monet, in New York this November.

The collection is estimated to reach approximately $450 million. Several works were presented to the media in London, drawing attention to a group of paintings that have remained largely unseen for an extended period.
