US Dollar Exchange Rates Rise Against Iraqi Dinar in Baghdad and Erbil at Closing
The US dollar exchange rates posted a noticeable gain against the Iraqi dinar at the close of trading on Sunday across markets in Baghdad and Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
Trading data showed that Baghdad's main exchanges, Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya, closed higher at 155,750 IQD per $100, up from the morning rate of 154,900 IQD. This upward trend was mirrored in Baghdad's local exchange shops, where selling prices reached 156,250 IQD per $100 and buying prices settled at 155,250 IQD.
Similarly, Erbil's markets experienced a parallel increase, with closing selling prices reaching 155,250 IQD per $100 and buying prices recorded at 155,200 IQD.
