Trump: Iran War Could End After or Even Before US Midterm Elections

US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the war with Iran could end after the US midterm elections, or possibly even before they take place.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said Iran was seeking a deal, but stressed that he would not agree to what he described as a bad agreement. He also reaffirmed that Iran would not be allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon, saying the United States would prevent it.

Regarding Ukraine, Trump called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to stop targeting diesel facilities in Russia.
