Suspect Wanted on Terrorism Charges Arrested in Diyala

A joint security force comprising Diyala Police, intelligence personnel, and the provincial Counterterrorism Directorate arrested a suspect wanted on terrorism-related charges, on Sunday.

A security source stated that the arrest took place in Al-Abbara district, northeast of Baqubah, based on accurate intelligence and field surveillance.

The source added that the necessary legal measures had been taken against the suspect, who was referred to the relevant authorities to complete the investigative and legal procedures.
