Suspect Arrested in Diyala with More Than 4,000 Lyrica Pills

Security personnel from the Diyala Police Directorate’s Checkpoints Affairs Department, in cooperation with K9 units and the provincial Anti-Narcotics Directorate, arrested a suspect found in possession of 4,032 Lyrica (Pregaba-Plus) pills during an inspection at a security checkpoint north of Baqubah.

A security source said the suspect was referred to the relevant authorities after the necessary legal procedures were completed in accordance with established regulations.

Pregabalin, commercially known as Lyrica or Pregaba, is primarily used to treat nerve pain and control epileptic seizures.
