Saudi Arabia Strongly Condemns Houthi Attacks on Civilian and Economic Targets, Urges International Action


On Tuesday morning, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued a strong condemnation regarding the Houthi militia's targeting of civilian and economic infrastructure across Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan, and Najran. The attacks resulted in 73 civilian injuries, including women and children.

According to a statement by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Riyadh warned against the continued targeting of innocent civilians and vital infrastructure, demanding an immediate end to all escalation and threats to maritime navigation security. Furthermore, the Kingdom urged the international community to uphold its responsibilities and strictly enforce relevant UN Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolutions 2216 and 2722.
