Prime Minister Confirms Payroll Security and Announces Plans to Expand Oil Export Routes

Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi announced on Friday the government's success in fully securing public employees' salaries and achieving significant progress in the energy export sector. In a statement issued by his media office, Al-Zaidi explained that the government has successfully established alternative strategies and routes for oil exports. He revealed upcoming plans to expand export operations through multiple outlets, including the Turkish port of Ceyhan, as well as the Baniyas and Aqaba terminals. The Prime Minister also noted that the government will soon submit a financial budget draft—representing a clear roadmap for Iraq's economic future—to Parliament for a vote.
