Official at Baiji Oil Institute Arrested Over Corruption Allegations

An official security source reported on Saturday the arrest of Ghassan Al-Jumaili, Head of the Training Department at the Baiji Oil Institute, during a joint security operation conducted alongside the Federal Integrity Commission over corruption charges.

Speaking to Shafaq News Agency, the source stated that a joint force executed the arrest of Al-Jumaili—who is the brother of Adnan Al-Jumaili—for his alleged involvement in financial and administrative corruption cases. The source confirmed that the operation was carried out in accordance with statutory legal procedures and judicial warrants, without disclosing further details regarding the specific charges.
