Ministry of Transport Suspends Iraqi Airways General Manager and Appoints Interim Administration

The Minister of Transport has issued a ministerial order suspending the General Manager of the General Company for Iraqi Airways for a period of 60 days. Official documents clarified that this decision was made to serve the interests of the workflow, in accordance with the provisions of the amended State and Public Sector Employees Discipline Law. The ministerial order also included the appointment of a new interim administration to manage the affairs of Iraqi Airways throughout the suspension period, with the decision taking effect immediately upon issuance.
