Militant attack on PMF checkpoint in Kirkuk leaves one dead and another injured

One PMF member was killed and another injured early Thursday in an armed attack targeting a PMF checkpoint in the Altun Kupri area of Kirkuk province.

According to the available information, two unidentified men riding a motorcycle opened fire on the checkpoint before fleeing the scene.

Security forces are continuing to search for the attackers after surveillance cameras captured the incident. One of the suspects was reportedly seen with his face uncovered.
