Israeli Airstrikes Escalation in Southern Lebanon Leaves 4 Dead and Multiple Injured
Israeli warplanes and drones expanded their heavy airstrikes across several regions in southern Lebanon early Saturday, leaving at least four people dead and several others injured, alongside causing extensive damage to civilian infrastructure and residential buildings.
According to Lebanon’s official National News Agency, the strikes targeted three main districts. In the Nabatieh District, an airstrike on the Al-Ruwais neighborhood killed two people and wounded another, coinciding with raids on the towns of Al-Kfour and Mayfadoun. In the Tyre District, an initial count confirmed two deaths and several injuries after a home in the town of Ramadiyeh was hit. Additionally, the aerial campaign reached the Jezzine District, targeting the Jbour heights in Kafra Houna.
