Iraq’s Supreme Judicial Council Reaffirms Commitment to Rule of Law and Rights

Iraq’s Supreme Judicial Council has renewed its commitment to upholding the rule of law, protecting rights and freedoms, and ensuring equal treatment under the law without discrimination.

The council said the rule of law is a fundamental pillar of state-building and institutional development, as well as a key guarantee for justice and the protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms. It also reaffirmed its constitutional role in strengthening equality and public confidence in state institutions.
