Iraq’s Crude Oil Exports to South Korea Drop 45.6% in First Eight Months of 2026

Iraq’s crude oil exports to South Korea fell by 45.6% in the first eight months of 2026, reaching 38.344 million barrels, compared with the same period last year, according to data from the Korea National Oil Corporation.

Saudi Arabia remained South Korea’s largest oil supplier, exporting 196.215 million barrels, despite a 15.65% year-on-year decline. The United States ranked second with 131.094 million barrels, followed by the United Arab Emirates with 101.556 million barrels.

Iraq ranked fourth, with its exports falling from 70.550 million barrels in the corresponding period of 2025 to 38.344 million barrels in the first eight months of this year.

Kuwait ranked fifth, supplying 36.708 million barrels, while Oman followed with exports totaling 19.404 million barrels.
