Iraq’s Central Bank Suspends Banking Transactions with 14 Individuals and 19 Companies
The Central Bank of Iraq has ordered the suspension of banking transactions involving 14 individuals and 19 companies operating in sectors including oil, trade, transport and financial services, amid suspected irregularities in their financial dealings.
The bank instructed financial institutions to halt all transactions involving the listed accounts until investigations are completed, warning that any violations of the directive would result in legal consequences.
