Iraqi Security Forces Arrest Suspect Over Alleged Witchcraft Practices in Baghdad

Iraqi security forces arrested a suspect caught in the act of allegedly practicing witchcraft and sorcery in an area of Baghdad’s Rusafa district.

The Baghdad Police Command said in a statement that the arrest followed information indicating that the suspect was carrying out such activities to defraud and deceive citizens.

The statement added that security forces monitored the information before arresting the suspect and seizing a number of materials and tools allegedly used in witchcraft practices.
