Iraq to Face Oman, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia at Gulf Cup 27 in Jeddah

The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation announced on Thursday the full schedule for the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, which will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, including the dates, kick-off times and stadiums for the group-stage and knockout matches.

Iraq will begin its campaign against Oman on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, with kick-off at 5:30 p.m. at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium. On the same day, hosts Saudi Arabia will face Kuwait at 9:00 p.m. at King Abdullah Sports City.

In the second round of the group stage, Iraq will take on Kuwait on Saturday, September 26, at 6:55 p.m. at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium, while Saudi Arabia will meet Oman later that evening at 9:00 p.m.

Iraq will conclude the group stage with a high-profile clash against hosts Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, September 29, at 8:30 p.m. at King Abdullah Sports City. The match will be played simultaneously with Oman’s meeting with Kuwait.

The tournament will feature eight national teams: Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Yemen, with the competition running from September 23 to October 6, 2026.

The semi-finals are scheduled for October 3, while the tournament final will be held on October 6 at King Abdullah Sports City, where the two semi-final winners will compete for the 27th Gulf Cup title.
