Germany’s Exports to Iraq Reach $669 Million in First Half of 2026

Data from Germany’s Federal Statistical Office showed that the value of German exports to Iraq reached approximately $669 million during the first half of 2026, including $284 million in the first quarter and $385 million in the second quarter.

According to the statistics, tractors ranked among the leading German products exported to the Iraqi market, with exports valued at around $54 million during the first six months of the year.

Other major export categories included medicines and pharmaceutical preparations for therapeutic or preventive purposes, blood products, vaccines and immune preparations, passenger vehicles, medical and surgical equipment, electrical control and distribution panels, packaging machinery, filtering and purification equipment, as well as refrigeration equipment, refrigerators and freezers, alongside various other products.

The figures highlight the diversity of German exports to the Iraqi market, particularly across the pharmaceutical, medical supplies, machinery, equipment and automotive sectors.
