Five Palestinians Killed, Others Injured in Israeli Strike on Western Gaza
Five Palestinians, including four women, were killed and more than five others injured early Saturday after an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential apartment in western Gaza City, according to Palestinian medical and local sources.
The sources said the strike hit the ground floor of a residential building near the United Nations Roundabout, triggering a fire and causing damage to the structure. Ambulance and civil defense teams continued searching for people believed to be trapped beneath the rubble.
The strike comes amid continued Israeli attacks on various areas across the Gaza Strip, despite a ceasefire announced in October 2025.
