Erbil Explores the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

The Presidency of Erbil Polytechnic University held a scientific training course on Tuesday titled “Artificial Intelligence and Medicine: A Partnership for Life,” focusing on ways to use modern technologies to support the healthcare sector and reduce medical errors.

The course examined the role of artificial intelligence in early disease detection, improving treatment methods and analyzing complex medical data, as well as developing smart healthcare systems that could enhance medical services and accelerate patient recovery.

Participants stressed the importance of continuing specialized academic programs and activities to strengthen cooperation between the technology sector and healthcare institutions in the Kurdistan Region, while promoting the adoption of digital and AI-based solutions in medicine.
