Dollar Rises Against Iraqi Dinar in Baghdad and Erbil at Close

The US dollar strengthened against the Iraqi dinar on Thursday in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil, with trading closing higher.

At Baghdad’s Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, the dollar reached 157,300 dinars per $100, up from 156,850 dinars recorded in the morning session.

Exchange offices across Baghdad’s local markets also raised their rates, with the dollar selling for 157,750 dinars per $100, while the buying rate stood at 156,750 dinars.

In Erbil, the dollar also moved higher, reaching 157,400 dinars per $100 for selling and 157,350 dinars for buying.
