Dollar Holds Steady in Baghdad, Slightly Lower in Erbil
The US dollar exchange rate remained stable in Baghdad markets on Saturday, while it edged slightly lower in Erbil as evening trading came to a close.
According to Shafaq News Agency’s correspondent, the dollar rate at Baghdad’s Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges stood at IQD 159,750 per $100, unchanged from the morning session.
At local exchange offices in Baghdad, the dollar was sold at IQD 160,250 per $100, while the buying rate reached IQD 159,250.
In Erbil, the dollar recorded a slight decline, with the selling rate reaching IQD 159,400 per $100 and the buying rate standing at IQD 159,300.
