Baghdad Operations: 28 suspects arrested for drug trafficking and promotion
The Baghdad Operations Command announced on Saturday that its forces had arrested 28 suspects accused of trafficking and promoting narcotics, along with other individuals wanted in connection with forgery and illegal possession of weapons.
In a statement, the command said security operations carried out between September 16 and October 2 resulted in the arrest of 28 suspects involved in drug trafficking and promotion.
It added that its units also detained 15 foreign nationals for violating residency and nationality regulations, while seizing weapons, ammunition and other unauthorized materials
