Al-Zawraa Defeat Al-Gharraf to Extend Lead in Iraqi Stars League

Al-Zawraa secured a 2-0 victory over Al-Gharraf on Thursday at Al-Zawraa Stadium in the eighth round of the Iraqi Stars League.

Mohammed Qasim opened the scoring just two minutes into the match, before Hiran Ahmed doubled the hosts’ advantage in the 28th minute. Al-Zawraa maintained their lead until the final whistle to claim all three points.

The victory took Al-Zawraa’s tally to 18 points, placing them at the top of the league standings, while Al-Gharraf remained in 20th and last place with five points
