A Chorus of Strangers” Examines Identity and Migration Through British Art
The British Art Show 10 has opened in Coventry, bringing together works by 37 artists across three cultural venues under the title “A Chorus of Strangers.”
The exhibition explores identity, belonging, migration and social diversity through painting, sculpture, photography, sound art and multimedia installations.
Rather than presenting a single definition of contemporary British art, the exhibition brings together contrasting perspectives addressing migration, colonial history, urban life, protest and social change. The show will remain in Coventry until January 2027 before touring other British cities.
